Brittany Oakes, DPT

Brittany is a native Austinite. She graduated from Westwood High School and went on to play Division 1 Softball at LSU. At LSU she was an All-American, majored in Kinesiology and won the SEC Scholar Athlete of the Year award. She also founded the organization Geaux Play in association with Miracle Play. The organization provides children with disabilities sports equipment and the opportunity to play with collegiate athletes.

After college Brittany was the #1 overall draft pick and played for the Orlando Pride. She retired from Professional softball to attend LSU's Physical Therapy Doctoral program.  She graduated from LSU with her DPT in 2017 and began working with Champion Performance in July of 2017. While working for Champion Performance Brittany rekindled her professional softball career and joined the Texas Pride.

In her free time Brittany loves horseback riding, eating and baking sweets, and coaching youth softball!
